How To Lose 50 Pounds Fast

You’re about to find out how to lose 50 pounds fast.

But before that – is losing 50 pounds fast even safe?

And if it is, is it actually possible to lose this much weight so quickly? I wrote an article recently which details 52 ways to lose 50 pounds.

It’s a decent read if you have 5 minutes after this article.

Find out how to lose 50 pounds quickly

Anyway, when it comes to losing weight fast, a lot of people get a bit scared and a bit stuck.

Here’s the thing…

…if you have a proven plan for fast weight loss (like my very own Flat Belly Plan), then losing 50 pounds is certainly something that is safe.

And not just safe, very achievable.

Here, I’ll give you a brief overview of how it works.

By naturally lowering our insulin levels our bodies find it easier to burn bodyfat and not the sugar in our blood.

And when this hormone is lowered all that stored water, fat and toxins stored with your body begin to flush (very quickly) from your body.

As you can imagine, experiencing fast weight loss like this is super motivational.

I’ll talk a lot more about how fast weight loss affects motivation in the Flat Belly Plan

You’ve probably already tried to lose weight before and failed, let alone losing 50 pounds fast, right?

So, here are a couple of pointers to get you started in your weight loss.

Cut Sugar

Cutting back, or removing sugar from your diet is not just something that’s good for your health…

…but it will also significantly improve your chances of losing weight fast.

Too much sugar will dramatically affect the fat storage hormone insulin.

Re-gaining control of this hormone will make losing weight so much easier.

Recently I wrote a blog about how to deal with sugar addiction which you can read below.

Healthy Fats

There’s no doubt that you’ve heard the conflicting information around fats, right?

Whereas there are definitely unhealthy fats (trans fats)…

…there are more healthy fats to chose from (saturated & monounsaturated fats).

Adding more of healthy fats into your diet will significantly help with weight loss.

You see, these foods that contain healthy fats (think avocados), will increase your metabolism, and regulate hormones.

They key to eating these fats, however, is eating the right amounts.

This is why there is a specific section within the Flat Belly Plan that teaches you how to do this (without counting calories).

More Water

You may well have never considered the fact that being hydrated can actually help with fat loss too.

Given that the majority of our bodies are made up of water including our:

  • Muscles
  • Fat cells
  • Organs..

…it should come as no surprise that the the fat burning process (lipolysis) actually needs water to function at the rate it needs to for fat loss to happen?

In other words, the more hydrated you are, the more efficiently you’ll access your stored fat as daily energy.

It’s also worth mentioning that stubborn areas of fat, such as stomach fat, are much easier to lose when properly hydrated.

One of the easiest ways to start adding more water into your day is to start with a glass first thing upon waking.

I know this can be challenging for a lot of people to remember to do when they wake up.

But, preparing a glass of water the night before and having close to your bed before you fall asleep is a great reminder for when you wake up.

I wrote an article recently which detailed how to lose weight without going on a diet.

It’s a pretty good article (but I would say that, wouldn’t I), and it’s worth having a read.

How to lose weight without dieting

Carbohydrate Restriction

Given the amount of information that’s available on the fat loss and in particular, carbohydrates and fat loss, it’s really easy to get overwhelmed with it all.

So let me break it down for you.

Not all carbohydrates are created equally.

Some make gaining fat much easier than other.

Whereas other carbohydrates help support your health, immune system, and even help with fat loss.

And this is why carbohydrate restriction is a great way to lose 50 pounds fast.

You see, be removing carbs from the diet for a short period of time (5-7 days usually does the trick), you’ll give your body a chance to naturally regulate your fat storing hormone.

If you can do this, you’ll access your own stored bodyfat for energy.

Pretty cool, right?

This is also why intermittent fasting for weight loss works in much the same way.

But, here’s what also happens…

…all the stored water, toxins and any excess fat that’s also stored around the glycogen that’s removed, all quickly come off your body (just like I mentioned above).

The key to successfully managing this approach to fat loss, however, is adding carbohydrates back into the diet at the right times.

Walking

While not actually essential for fast weight loss, walking can most certainly accelerate this process.

In fact, in recent studies, it has been shown that walking can help regulate your hunger hormones and your fat storage hormones.

And on top of the fat loss benefits, walking will actually make you feel good.

And when you feel good about yourself, you’re more inclined to keep making good eating and lifestyle choices.

Walking is a great way to lose weight without feeling like you’re “dieting,” right?

Fast Fat Loss Plan

As I mentioned above, fast and safe weight loss is very achievable, but only when undertaken in the right way.

Trying to do this on your own can be tricky.

This is why having a science backed plan, such the Flat Belly Plan, is always advisable.

If you’d like to see the results that others have had using this program, you can go here.

The Flat Belly Plan comes with:

  • A load of healthy fat burning recipes for you to chose from.
